Can we bring our own food and alcohol?

Some trips include catering, some allow guests to bring supplies and others use a mixed arrangement. Confirm what you may bring, where it can be stored and whether the boat has suitable facilities.

Check the policy before shopping

Ask about glass, service arrangements, allergies and any restrictions. For bareboat hire, make sure the nominated skipper understands the applicable rules and operator procedures.

AMSA requires domestic commercial vessel operators, including hire-and-drive operators, to have a drug and alcohol policy within their safety management system. Ask how the policy applies to your group.
