The Gold Coast
Broadwater day charter and events, with an ocean bar most charters do not cross.
The Gold Coast charter offer is concentrated on the Broadwater: day sailing, corporate and event work, usually on catamarans with deck space rather than cruising boats with berths.
The Seaway is the dividing line. Most day charters stay inside it, where the water is flat and the schedule is reliable, and crossing it turns an easy day into a coastal passage subject to bar conditions. Ask directly whether your charter goes outside, because the answer changes what the day looks like.
For an event afloat with a city backdrop this is one of the strongest offers in the country. For a cruising week it is not the place.
