Before committing to any of those, read safety and commercial vessel rules on operating areas, because a vessel certified for sheltered water may not be permitted to make the passage at all, and weather and seasons for the window. If you operate here and we have missed you, tell us.

Australia’s external territories do not form a normal domestic yacht-charter circuit. No dependable resident bareboat fleet was verified for Christmas Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Norfolk Island, the Coral Sea Islands Territory, Ashmore and Cartier Islands or the Australian Antarctic Territory. Access is instead by locally licensed tour boat, visiting private yacht, research/logistics vessel or specialist expedition operator, subject to permits.
