Reading this comparison
Ask both operators to confirm your dates, exact vessel and inclusions in writing.
Eastsail lists others and SailCorp lists monohulls, which is the most consequential difference on this page: it changes the motion, the draft and the amount of living space you get.
What no comparison table can settle is the part that decides the trip: whether the operator answers the phone on a Sunday, how the handover briefing is run, and whether the boat you are shown is the boat you get. Ask both the same five questions and compare the answers rather than the brochures.
- Is the quoted figure per person or for the whole vessel?
- How much hands-on sailing is actually on offer?
- What is the passenger limit for this route and forecast?
- Is food and drink included, provided, or bring-your-own?
