Are sailing charters accessible for guests with limited mobility?

Describe what you need rather than relying on a general “accessible” label. Ask for photos or measurements of boarding steps, doorways, handrails, seating, toilets and cabin access.

Include the whole journey

Discuss the transfer from shore to boat and any tender or shore visits. Ask what assistance the crew can provide and whether a mobility aid can be accommodated. Check an alternative plan if a boarding point or activity changes.

Confirm the agreed arrangements for the named vessel in writing. A catamaran, a large boat or a short trip is not automatically suitable for every guest.
